Best Dressed at the 2009 Academy Awards

I always find it so interesting to see what the "fashion experts" and the media believe are the best dresses at an awards show. Because isn't it supposed to be "Best Dressed?" As in who has the most flattering dress to their figure, skin tone, etc. As in who has the most appropriate jewelry that fits their dress and their frame. As in whose dress shows off their personality. As in who is actually wearing the dress, rather than the dress wearing them.

And I find it a shame that the media only lets us see a select few of the celebrities and what they are wearing. In searching "Best Dressed" articles on the internet, I find the same stars and the same pics over and over again. There are so many more people and dresses out there!

In that respect, out of the People.com slideshow, my favorites are Anne Hathaway and Tina Fey. Who were yours??
